What your child will learn: Geometry: Triangles, Circles & Proofs
- Triangle angles always sum to 180°. Know two angles? The third is free!
- Pythagorean Theorem: in a right triangle, a² + b² = c². Legs 3 and 4 give hypotenuse 5, since 9 + 16 = 25.
- Circle formulas: circumference C = 2πr, area A = πr². (π ≈ 3.14159, the same for EVERY circle in the universe.)
- Area toolbox: rectangle = l·w, triangle = ½·b·h, and volume of a box = l·w·h.
