What your child will learn: Super Sentences & Little Stories
- Stretch a sentence by adding WHERE, WHEN, or HOW: 'The frog jumped' → 'The frog jumped into the cold pond at night.'
- Join two short sentences with 'and' or 'but': 'I like dogs, but cats make me sneeze.'
- A little story has 3 parts: beginning (who and where), middle (what happens), end (how it turns out).
