What your child will learn: Point of View & Perspective
- First person: the narrator IS a character ('I raced down the hall'). You see only what they see.
- Third person limited: an outside narrator follows one character's thoughts.
- Third person omniscient: the narrator knows EVERYONE'S thoughts, like a mind-reading drone.
- Ask: Can I trust this narrator? What might they be missing, hiding, or exaggerating?
